Two weeks ago in New York, the Fetch Eyewear crew journeyed to New York where held a trunk show at Animal Haven animal shelter in SoHo. We were just amazed by the amazing work that they are doing right in the middle of the city. While setting up for our event, director Tiffany Lacey was briefing her staff on their hurricane preparedness plan for the looming super storm. The event was a blast! We had some fantastic New Yorkers and Oregon natives come by to check out Fetch eyewear and tour Animal Haven. We flew out of New York the Friday before the storm hit. From Portland we were on pins and needles worrying about friends and loved ones in New York and followed the updates from Animal Haven diligently. Animal Haven did an amazing job of keeping all of their animals safe, warm and fed though out the storm, even without power for a full week. In the wake of the storm, Animal Haven has absorbed a huge amount of new rescue animals displaced from their homes. They are now in need of extra funds to replace all medications, vaccinations, and supplies that required refrigeration and to care for additional animals transferred to us from evacuated and damaged shelters. If you are able to donate, please go to their donation page and contribute what you can. Every penny helps!

I think you have found the cutest picture of a kitten ever taken! I’m so glad he survived! What a story!
